Description

NAC TU-33/40 Army Navy .22 LR Bolt-Action Training Rifle — Serial #9206614

This NAC TU-33/40 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, modeled after the legendary German G33/40 Mountain Carbine, and produced for the civilian or training market. Imported and marked by NAC (Navy Arms Company), the TU-33/40 was manufactured as a rimfire replica for low-cost marksmanship practice and military-style shooting.

The rifle features a hardwood stock, Mauser-style bolt, and iron sights configured to replicate the full-size centerfire version. Though chambered in .22 LR, it mirrors the weight and feel of the G33/40, originally used by German Gebirgsjäger (mountain troops) during WWII.

Often imported in the mid-to-late 20th century, these rifles were popular among collectors, shooters, and reenactors for their realistic styling and affordable shooting. While not an original military firearm, the TU-33/40 offers excellent training potential and historical appeal at a fraction of the cost of original Mausers.

A solid choice for rimfire collectors, military trainers, or anyone interested in historical-style rifles with practical shooting value.
